Lorsque l'on s'arrête à la station Parmentier, ligne 3, on peut apercevoir sur le quai une statue. Elle nous rappelle qu'Antoine Parmentier (1737-1813) nous a fait découvrir la pomme de terre, légume number one pour Zaromcha. Concernant la ligne 3 : elle a été ouverte le 19 octobre 1904 mais uniquement de Villiers au Père Lachaise. Le 25 janvier 1905, elle sera prolongée jusqu'à Gambetta.
